Our Big Night Out!

We had a great night at the Plough in Fen Ditton on the 10th September  featuring the wonderful JOANNA EDEN singing the songs of Ella Fitzgerald. The Mayor of Cambridge, Jeremy Benstead was our guest of honour and added to the fundraising activity by agreeing to offer ‘selfies’ for a £1 a go for everyone’s photo album – it was either that or volunteering to take a pie in the face which were on offer for anyone daft enough to want one from the UK Pie Party Team!

Many thanks to Joanna and the Band, Neal Robins (chair of Libra), Mr. Mayor Jeremy Benstead, Nicky and Dave from the UK Pie Party, the great team at the Plough and all the wonderful volunteers who worked their socks off to make the night a success.

Our Performances and Projects
As well as our programme of workshops, we aim to produce one major production every year. In addition we enter local drama and arts festivals.
Whilst our core funding comes from Cambridge City and Cambridge County Councils, our past productions have also benefitted from awards from Barclays Bank, Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, English Heritage, Local Network Fund and The Arts Council England, to whom we are indebted for their support.
Our recent productions include:
A Slice of History
Henson’s Aerial Steamship Company
The Dragon of Wantley
A Nose for Mystery
